Key Facts About BB Guns

Very few people actually own BB guns because they are too expensive. The truth is that it would be more beneficial for you to have a real gun in your possession which will be your backup in case of emergency. For this reason, you can always rely on your handgun. It is better to keep a BB gun in your purse or glove compartment.

It is known that a BB gun is really powerful. It can also cause instant incapacitating pain to your attacker. You can shoot your target if he tries to get up from a seated position. Some would say that this is a human-like defense. Others say that it is just an meaningless shot.

It is unverified whether BB guns can cause a person permanently incapacitating injury. The only harm done to a person is temporary. Your guess is as good as mine. But you can surely rely on your handgun to prevent you from unnecessary worries.

Once you get your hands on a BB gun, load it with ‘ Triple A ‘ lead shot. This is a BB gun which is designed to penetrate metal and plastic shields. Once it hits a surface, it pushes up with a loud crack and expand inwards making a deep hole in the skin.

It is always recommended that you keep your handgun with you. All you have to do is load it with ‘ Triple A ‘ lead shot. If you are going to be carrying your gun in your glove compartment, the gun must be concealed.

I am not advocating taking your pants off while in motion. holster it if you want and if you are going to be carrying your gun in your purse or pocket. But I would like to emphasize that the coast is safer and you can run faster in jeans than shirt and tie.

Shooting at your target from close range can cause a miss. When you miss with your handgun it may hit the only thing between you and your target – your target’s head is usually the only thing hitting the air (the only thing fluffy enough to be cushioned is your bullet-free nerves). When this happens, the bad guy will have a urinary tract nearby and will let you have it for that precise moment.

I have killed a guy with a well-placed lead shotgun at point blank range, in the name of pure, unadulterated, awesome power! Shocking, isn’t it? Point blank range is a Police-Code Category!

Now, for civilian use, your options are:

You can have fun, consider BB guns for fun, for target practice (if you can master the reload process). Some target guns are very sensitive, require practice to hit accurate shots. Best thing you can do is keep the range as far out as possible, in the woods with a big tree or just in your backyard with an artificial fence. I recommend practicing as many of these methods as you can; you are only going to be frustrated with your group skill if you can’t shoot well consistently.

Accuracy: skill is the key here. You’re making your target miss by shooting eraelmically. One bad shot could blow your target away. You can’t afford to make your bullets miss by shooting quarterly or elliptical; this is what happens when you’re using .22 caliber ammunition. This caliber produces lead blown stones – thousands of them. The .22 caliber round is much friendlier to your bullet, as it weights only 4 grains. That’s right, you can shoot .22 caliber ammunition accurately.

Glass: again, this is a bad idea. The thin wall of glass in your barrel causes walls to break on impact. If you’re lucky, you may as well put it out of its misery. This is particularly applicable to target practice with the Browning chamber.

Pistol Holsters: this is a dangerous way to carry your gun. You have to wear it in a belt holster for hand free carry. Pretty awkward, I know. But since you’re not in the holster, the gun is safely holstered by the base. If you’re in the wrong environment, this could be a problem.

When should you use them?

I use my Sterling .45 mainly for drills and drills. Go figure.

Why do you use a holster?

These things come in a wide variety of shapes and sizes to suit your needs. They also can be custom made to fit to your desires. The are also excellent when carrying a self defense weapon. They naturally reduce the chances of an unfortunate encounter with a criminal who spot a person with a gun. That is what I believe actually justifies the purchase of a gun. Unfortunately, we have to accept the occasional criminal will still be able to attack us.

What comes with it?

The Sterling shut up and stay put with the gun by the base. The gun is leather wrapped, and comes with a soft strap.
